The Roswell real estate market continues to thrive!

Roswell is a vibrant riverside community with strong neighborhoods and a rich history. Known for its entrepreneurial spirit, historic downtown, the Chattahoochee Forest and Riverside Park, Roswell has a neighborly feel with a huge focus on children, sports and events for all ages.

The real estate market in Roswell showed strong performance in 2017 despite the relatively low available inventory of homes for sale. With an average market time of just 39 days from the listing date to going under contract, buyers had to scramble when a new listing came on the market. Many sellers were able to choose from multiple offers. Prices stayed steady at a median closed price of just under $400,000.

2018 Outlook

The desirability of Roswell will continue in 2018 as the local economy continues to strengthen and interest rates stay at near-historic lows. While new listings coming on the market will pick up in the Spring, the total inventory of available properties for sale in 2018 will remain constrained. Watch for upward pricing pressure in the near future.
