In 2017 the sale of homes priced from $600,000 to $1 million set new records: 551 homes sold in 2017, an increase of 13% over 2016. Buyer demand far outstripped the number of homes for sale. Inventory dropped 16% in 2017 compared to 2016. And with an average listing time of just 37 days before properties went under contract, buyers had to move quickly when a new listing hit the market.
