With a record number of new developments coming on market, the Buckhead real estate market continues to thrive The price of condos and townhomes in Buckhead continued to edge upwards in 2017, rising to a median sold price of $657,000. Perhaps the most significant statistic from 2017 is that homes sold on an average of just 10 weeks on the market. Well-priced homes in top condition often sold in just a few days with sellers able to choose from multiple, strong offers.

2018 Outlook

Home to some of Atlanta’s most prominent residents, and surrounded by upscale shopping, fine dining and luxury hotels, it is easy to see why Buckhead is a much desired area. 

We believe that 2018 will be an exciting market for Buckhead home buyers and sellers. Price should remain stable or slightly increase depending on which new developments properties are completed. The upper end of the market will continue to see more than a year’s worth of inventory but note that this includes pre-sales in properties under development.
